Mushroomhead

Mushroom Head are a nu/alternative metal band from Cleveland, Ohio, with touches of industrial, hip-hop techno, punk, and other genres thrown into the mix, creating an engaging, but much more interesting on paper than on record, sound. The band was also known for wearing black masks, somewhat akin to the kinds that bands like Slipknot wore, although slightly more like gas masks. The band continues to tour today, expanding the sounds that are accepted as part of metal.
