POWERMAD

Powermad were an obscure but worthy speed metal band from Minnesota, mostly active in the late eighties, best known for the inclusion of their amazing song “Slaughterhouse” in the classic David Lynch film Wild at Heart (1990). The band put out two EPs and two records in their prime, before taking over a decade off and returning in 2007 with new drummer Lowder and a MySpace page, which has their albums available as MP3s. While not the most famous speed metal band in their time, their two records are well worth finding either via eBay or the website.
