TRIXTER (1989–95). Peter Loran (vocals), Steve Brown (guitar), P. J. Farley (bass), Mark “Gus” Scott (drums).

New Jersey’s pop-metal rockers Trixter caught a lucky break when their selftitled debut hit in 1990. With videos for the songs “Surrender,” “One in a Million,” and “Give It to Me Good” getting heavy airplay on MTV, the album sold more than half a million copies. The band followed up their debut with 1992’s Hear! and a collection of covers (Undercovers) in 1994, but neither album could replicate their earlier success and the band called it a day shortly afterward.
