KROKUS (1976–PRESENT). Marc Storace (vocals), Fernando von Arb (guitar), Tommy Kiefer (guitar), Chris von Rohr (bass), Freddy Steady (drums).
With an obvious AC/DC influence, Swiss rockers Krokus enjoyed a good deal of popularity in the early eighties with their platinum album Headhunter (featuring the single “Long Stick Goes Boom”) and tours with such heavyweights as Def Leppard, Motorhead, Rush, and AC/DC. While their popularity in the U.S. faded significantly after that time, they have continued to record and tour in Europe, remaining quite popular in their native Switzerland.
