MONSTER MAGNET (1992–PRESENT). Dave Wyndorf (vocals, guitar), Tim Cronin (vocals), John McBain (guitar), Joe Callandra (bass), Jon Kleiman (drums).
Monster Magnet are one of the leaders of the “stoner” and space rock retro rock scene. Led by vocalist/guitarist Dave Wyndorf, the band struggled for success during the grunge era when their music was not in fashion until their 1998 breakthrough, Powertrip, which featured the single “Space Lord,” which was also a popular video on MTV. After losing their record contract due to problems related to their follow-up God Says No, the band later signed with the German SPV label issuing Monolithic Baby! in 2004 and 4-Way Diablo in 2007.
