INSANE CLOWN POSSE (1988–PRESENT). Violent J (vocals), Shaggy 2 Dope (vocals). ICP are a Detroit metal/rap crossover band with an extremely dedicated fan base known as the Juggalos. The two MCs are Violent J (Joseph Bruce) and Shaggy 2 Dope (Joseph Utsler) The group’s lyrics are fairly misogynistic and sophomoric, but their stance of rebellion appeals tremendously to fans that see no real difference in the presumed hardness/heaviness of rap and metal.
